Anything else you feel is useful to add?

You can start this walk either at Thwaite Mill car park or in Leeds City centre. As the route is linear return, you can set the distance you want to walk really easily.

If you start in Leeds city centre I would suggest visiting the gothic Victorian Dark Arches which are often missed when visiting Leeds. Leeds train station is very close (ie above) the Dark Arches (Dark Neville Street).

Also worth visiting are Royal Armouries and Thwaite Mill, both of which are along this route. The steel bridge (see photo above) at Knostrop Weir sometimes hums in the wind!

This walk is also good for cycling and you can cycle further in either direction to enjoy a longer ride.
